Tuesday morning, we were up raring to go!
Okay that’s a bit of a lie. But I was up and moving and
that’s the important thing! After sleeping in several blankets and articles of
clothing and using the heater in my bedroom to stay warm and try all that
sleeping to feel better, it helped a little bit! Not a 100% but about 60%
maybe.
However I was still a bit out of it, and we tried to get to
breakfast. It’s the only school meal I’m still enjoying. Even though I was sick
and not hungry. Anyways it didn’t matter because I couldn’t walk that fast
[Katie’s seriously a machine on the street and I can’t wait for the day when I
find someone else to STROLL with it- I still love you, Katie, but seriously,
it’s not a race], and so we missed breakfast by like… a minute, maybe two. But
they always put the dishes away immediately so we didn’t stand much of a
chance, unfortunately.
So we just went straight to our office, attempting to
prepare a lesson and maybe if lucky, even doze a little bit. I had already
planned out some possible ideas so it didn’t take too long to scrub them shiny
and try to doze for a little bit.
They’re my good class, but they were still a little crazy!
Katie joined me for lunch afterwards, and then she strolled
on home. I didn’t want to go back into the cold, so I went to the office and
tried to doze a little bit. Overall I didn’t do too much for the next few
hours.
Grade 4 went okay- it took a little while for them to enjoy
the game and they got a bit loud, unfortunately, but we were still able to work
out all right! And that goes the same for grade 5, except that they listen even
less which makes everything a bit frustrating overall.
Grade 3 Class 3 was a bit noisy as well, but they did get a
few good words down during class so that was pretty good overall…
Katie didn’t want to go back into the cold so she didn’t end
up coming for dinner. I grabbed just a few bites- mostly bread because I still
wasn’t feeling awesome- and slowly walked home. It had rained and my legs ached
annoyingly.
She had just started The Bridge to Terabithia on my
computer, so I joined her for that. It was about nine by the time the movie
finished, so I got ready for bed and went to sleep shortly after that. Katie
ended up staying awake for a good hour or so after on my computer before going
to bed herself.
