I woke up feeling three times as crappy as Saturday that
Monday morning, so I went back to bed and stayed there until about 11 AM.
Meaning we didn’t go do dumplings like originally planned. Sorry, Katie. But I
felt like crap. Then it was time for school though so I managed to pull myself
together, not tip over, and slowly get to school.
I didn’t eat any lunch because I felt so nauseated, and I
mostly spent the day focusing on not dying. I found that pretty important
because my head felt like it was bashed in and it was super hard concentrating
on anything. But enough complaining… I compiled a fun lesson full of pictures
to get kids speaking more English, having to find words for everything in each
picture.
Teaching helped me feel a bit better, although the kids were
totally nuts on Monday. It was pretty tricky, how chaotic it was. But otherwise
I got the hint that they actually sort of enjoyed the lesson, so that’s good!
Anyways, I felt a tiny bit better after the craze and ended up staying while
Katie went to teach.
The heater at the school is better anyways. I pulled up my
feet and tried to doze for a bit, just really enjoying the heat… it was
marvelous! Then Katie returned for dinner, but all I grabbed was a roll. Still
a bit tasty though I felt bad and all… And after that we headed home.
It was a dull day overall. I had taken two sleeping pills by
the time it was 6:30 and Katie lent me her other blanket and then we even
dragged the heater into my bedroom- that was fun- so I was good to go and slept
for most of the night! Thirteen hours! Not straight, mind you, because I woke
up a few funny times, but I always conked out shortly after!
