Sunday!
We stayed in bed as long as possible before heading over for
church with Abby and Greg! We hadn’t actually scheduled anything, but hey, it’s
church! So we showed up, and the primary program was going on!
That was super
cute and awesome. Some of the kids gave talks, some did solos. It was tricky
with all of them singing, because they weren’t all together. The first one went
pretty well but the connection wasn’t too great, and at the close, they all got
off a little bit- that was hilarious…
But still, it was adorable!
After that, Katie and I went to the school a few minutes
early and waited out for lunch. Not too thrilling, but we ate two helpings of
the porridge soup. Basically just rice chunk things in gooey water? But you add
say, three spoonfuls of sugar, and that swallows quite nicely!
Then homeward bound we went! We watched a ton of freaking
movies in hopes of skyping with her brother, Spencer, at midnight for his
farewell talk. But at the last minute, it fell apart and I’d already been
dozing off. So we were in bed about five minutes later and passed out.
